Medical Buddy and Patient Advocate

Empowering patients to navigate healthcare and medication safety confidently, our Medical Buddy will serve as your patient advocate by providing personalized support during doctor’s visits – either by phone or in-person. We assist with clarifying medical information, preparing questions, and ensuring patients fully understand their care and medication options and/or plans.

We offer expert support at your doctor’s appointments. Our Medical Buddy and Patient Advocate will attend your doctor’s visits with your permission and at your discretion to clarify information, answer questions, and ensure you feel heard.

  • We offer a Medical Buddy who can explain things clearly and simply.
  • We offer a Medical Buddy who will listen attentively and ask clarifying questions.
  • We offer a Medical Buddy who can help you prepare a list of questions to ask their doctor.
  • We offer a Medical Buddy who will advocate for your needs and ensure they feel heard.
We appreciate advance notice whenever possible. Ideally, we request a one-week Medical Buddy request notice. However, if you have an appointment within the next 48 hours, we will do our best to assist. Please be aware that any cancellation request must be made within 24 hours of your scheduled Medical Buddy attending your appointment.
